    Ana Miura is sweet, intelligent, passionate and beautiful. Unsurprisingly she has managed to transplant all of these incendiary qualities of hers, into her music. I first heard her music at a house she was staying in Kingston, Ontario while at the time she attended Queens University. Ana started out in a duo with Meghann Woods known as Meghann and Ana. I knew that if this was the beginning, that the evolution would gain some serious momentum and blossom. Within these beautifully melodic notes, hint influences such as Ani DiFranco, and Jewel (the old Jewel that is..). Her life experiences, and ambition have shaped her into a talented singer/songwriter. As I listen to songs like Dragonfly, I smile and take pride in the fact that my initial prediction from the night in Kingston, is wonderfully coming to fruition.
