2005, where Ana Miura is a real rising star and where she was on
stage amongst others artists as Teitur, Jeremy Fisher and Sarah
Harmer, one can say Ana Miura has already been quite successful
at her young age. The secret of Ana Miura is she knows to absorb
a listener with haunting melodies and a moving voice and first-rate
guitar playing skills. Her CD “Tenacious Heart’ contains a mix of folk,
jazz and pop music. Ana’s approach to music is very touching and
the music is so pure and seems to come straight from her heart.
Her composing skills and her intimate warm voice can be compared
to the quality of for instance Jewel or Sarah McLachlan are producing.
Her top-notch guitar skills on her Taylor guitar with her fantastic
composing skills and the fantastic musicians who accompany her
form a fantastic unit. The music is full of groove and the lyrics go
about relationships in her life. What really is amazing that her well-
modulated vocals and songs are so strong that after repeated playing
is still enamouring a listener. Ana Miura’s approach to music is as well
captivating and has a noteworthy own signature full of passion.
