A six song testament to Ana's ability to weather any relationship, Tenacious Heart is a honest collection of personal, intimate songwriting. From the playful beat of Dragonfly to the stirring build of TransCanada and the solemn resolve of He Swallows Whiskey; the percussive La Dee Da, the sweeping mantra of Follow me back and the jazzy groove of Left of Centre, this disc is a testament to Ana's tender-hearted nature. // The Dragonfly Demo was originally part of a larger project started in December 2002. Due to technical difficulties, the remaining five tracks were lost. The three song recovered were originally being used solely for promotional purpose, but after much urging, the demo was made available for public consumption! I hand-painted a limited number of them and they've all been sold! Many thanks to Eric, Angus and Andrew who made this disc possible! Credits Recorded
in the Spring of 2003 by Eric Passmore at Chanteclair Studios. Mixed
by Andrew Johnston. "La Dee Da" fade out edit by James Jordin. |

Ana Miura's song "TransCanada" is the first track on this live compilation of singer songwriters, all of them friends of Ottawa flutist Rozalind MacPhail. Each performer was invited to play an original song accompanied by Rozalind on flute. The evening was absolutely magical and the disc captures it beautifully.
