Now being played on....88.1 WVPE- greater South Bend, Indiana Monday July 7th, 2008 Amazing what happens when the PC goes down and I switch to Mac. The internet silence has broken! :) I am back online. Had a bunch of computer issues which are now fixed thanks to my brother. Hooray! There is A LOT going on... I'm finishing up a 6-song ep/teaser for my appearance at Bluesfest this year (see TOUR section), BFB is off to a wild start with bookings (tour section) and I just returned from a tour in Central America (you know where to look). I'm off to Toronto right now to attend the SongWorks songwriting workshop as a part of the Songwriters Association of Canada! What a summer already.. Saturday March 8th, 2008 Tour, tour and more Tour.. Hi Everyone... Sorry for the radio silence. It took the nice people at a nice computer shop a month to figure out they couldn't fix my computer. There are new shows listed in the TOUR section including another Ottawa show - Saturday April 26th at The Gallery in Ecclesiax Church which is on Monk at 5th in the Glebe. THIS SHOW WILL BE RECORDED LIVE!!! Copies of a selection of the tunes will be available, pre-sold at the show. You know what sounds cool? Thursday August 23, 2007 Hey Everyone, It's been a busy summer.... thanks to all those who came out to the shows (Amos or Ana)... Amanda Rheaume and I had a blast going up to Sudbury and Sault Ste Marie! I've been invited to showcase at the Mid-Point Music Festival! Very excited! Thursday June 21, 2007 Babes for Breasts! BFB this weekend! Friday June 22nd in Montreal at The Yellow Door and Saturday June 23rd in New York City at Caffe Vivaldi!!! Doing it with Jason Fee engineering and Dave Golden producing.. we've had loads of fun already with Stu Watkins, Jeff Asselin, Jeff Gleeson and Dobro Dan (Deslauriers) with more guests to come... Thursday May 17, 2007 Well, Well It has been quite awhile since I last posted.... Things have been crazy busy and crazy great! I have officially graduated university with a bachelor of arts in psychology (honours). So now I can rock out full time! BFB 3 - going to MTL and NYC. I have also had the please to be involved with the Ottawa Asian Heritage Month Society - they are putting on some FANTASTIC events - please attend if you can! www.asianheritagemonth.net I know many have been asking... we're in pre-production for my next album... :) SHOWS ... 2007 Thanks :) Quick note of gratitude to all those who came out to the Blacksheep. It was wonderful to have all of you there! The Sakura Concert this past Thursday at the NAC 4th stage sponsored by the Embassy of Japan was an incredible experience for me. Learning to sing in Japanese and performing on such an amazing stage for a warm and inviting audience was wonderful. Many thanks to Minister Tarahara, Toshi Yonehara, Kazuo Tsukada and Rebecca Benoit for all their hard work to make such a beautiful and successful event. We are currently in pre-production for the new album...recording starts in May! I'm saving my pennies and asking people for theirs too :) I am also in the midst of planning the next Babes for Breasts in the USA! The Babes are super pumped - Dates are in end of June; check the tour section and let people in the areas know!! :)Ana |

2007 CMW, Blacksheep, iTUNES usa For Toronto peeps, Thursday night at midnight I'm playing at the Art Bar club for Canadian Music Week! This is a big industry night and I'd love as much support as I can get!! St. Paddy's day is ON at the Blacksheep Inn in Wakefield, Qc - Saturday march 17th. It's only about a 20 minute drive from Ottawa. I'll be playing with the full band!!! USA peeps - I am now on iTunes for USA customers! Am working on the Canadian side of things.... 19, 2007 SECOND OTTAWA SHOW ADDED I'm thrilled to say that we've had to add a second Ottawa show. Saturday Jan 27th at Rasputin's there will be a 1pm matinee show as well as an 8pm show! If you live in Nepean, there is an article in Nepean This Week about BFB. A copy is in the Media section. If you live in Kanata, last week the Kanata Kourier ran a story. Wednesday January 3, 2007 Babes For Breasts! I know last month was Christmas and Hanukah, but this month is my month for giving! Myself and 4 other lovely ladies that is... I'm putting on Babes for Breasts again this year and am very excited to tell you that we're touring it! Dates are in the TOUR section, including Pembroke, Ottawa, Perth, Brockville and Toronto (we also have a date open for a living room show - email me if you want to host one!). What do we need from you? Well, first of all tell everyone you know! Second, if you are someone who has a little extra financially, we're looking for tour support so that a) we don't go broke and b) we can give as much money as possible to the cause! What's the cause? I'm working with the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation (ORCF) in the development of a new support group called "Well Women" for those ladies who have fought and beaten breast cancer and are now seeking to regain their lives after regaining their health. It would be a first for this city! These women need help and support for the challenges that are ahead of them.
